CHANNEL: www.youtube.com/@networkingdonedifferent
The wider we cast our NET of possibilities, the more opportunities we have to plant and cultivate new relationships and new ideas.
In this show, I interview entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and authors to provide insight into how they can benefit you.
Their offerings will provide you with more resources to share with others. In addition, I will record short videos with a technique or process that can help you expand your business and your life.

A Person Who
Sometimes the changes we make in our lives fail to stick because of how we see ourselves. For example, if you decide to stop eating junk food, you may still find yourself fighting with your urges to do so. Once you define yourself as a person who only eats healthy food, the temptation is no longer a struggle. If the issue comes up, you can easily turn down the junk food because you are a person who only eats healthy food, and eating the junk food is at odds with that.
I invite you to take each major area of your life, and write down two or three definitions of how you now choose to see yourself. I have given a bunch of examples below to get you started. Pick the two or three that most resonate with you, or use them as a jumping off place to create your own.
Make an index card for each life area (health, relationships, job/business, etc.) and write your 2-3 statements on them. Read them aloud each morning, and again if a temptation comes up in that area. The format for each statement is: “In my relationship with _______, I am a person who ______.”
In my relationship with myself, I am
In my relationship with my body, I am
In my relationship with my family/friends, I am
In relationship to my job or business, I am
In my relationship with money, I am

The Answer Is Three
“The answer is three!”
“The answer is zero!”
“The answer is four!”
I enjoy watching the game show, “The Price is Right.” Contestants must guess the price of various items in order to win prizes. So often, the contestants will look to the audience, where each person is screaming a different answer, in order to decide what price they will choose.
Of course, the people in the audience know as little about the exact price of the item as the contestant on stage does. In fact, the audience members actually know less than the person on stage, because the contestant engaged in the game is entangled with the energy of the game and the prize much more than the random audience members are.
Frequently I watch the contestant allow the input from the audience to override their own intuition. They will look to the audience, state an answer screamed out by audience members, and then lose the prize because they chose the wrong number. Often they will then say to the host, “I thought it was a nine,” when it was, indeed, a nine. Had they listened to their own intuition, they would have won the game.
Are you listening to others, or trusting your own knowing? It’s so easy to believe that others have the answers. It has been drilled into us from childhood that we must look to others (family, friends, teachers, etc.) for guidance, and we have forgotten how to listen to that little voice inside of us.
The answer is within you. Trust you!
