I listen to Dr. Dain Heer (co-founder of Access Consciousness) on teleseminars often, and something he recently shared about purpose really resonated with me. He said many of us are always on the hunt to discover our purpose and live our purpose. All that does is create judgment of ourselves—we judge ourselves as wrong or not enough when we are doing anything we have decided is not our purpose. Then we say we feel blocked or stuck. Instead of enjoying whatever we are choosing to do at the moment, we long for the illusive “purpose” and are on the constant hunt for it, and always thinking it is outside of us. Or we attempt to fulfill the purpose others tell us to.
We think finding our “purpose” will make us happy. What if we decided our purpose is to BE happy and BE love, and then prioritize our lives so that we are most often doing activities that allow us to express who we BE? How can it get any better than that?
