Crossing Over

November 28th, 2011 by Sara Pencil Blumenfeld

(this was sent out to my contacts on Saturday November 12, 2011)

“After battling cancer for 3 years my husband Steve died today at 4:10 pm. I am grateful that he is out of the pain and struggle. I am grateful for our almost 9 years together and for all we shared and learned from each other. I am grateful that he had his mental faculties to the end, and I am grateful for the good care he received at the VA Hospital in Houston. I am grateful that we had plenty of time to say how much we loved and appreciated each other, and I am grateful that, when he decided to go, it was obvious what was happening and I was able to hold his hand and speak loving words to him as he gently slipped into a better place.”

The outpouring of love, support and prayers I received as a response, both directly and on Facebook, was both a comfort and an honor.  How uplifting to know so many people care!  I encourage anyone reading this to take the few minutes to support your friends and family, even in little things, knowing that it means a lot.

The Pulling Power of Desire

November 8th, 2011 by Sara Pencil Blumenfeld

I heard on an Abraham-Hicks CD recently that desire has pulling power. “Want” keeps you in a state of not having, but “desire” brings the resources and energy thorough you. Energy needs a job to do, and all resources are energy. When you are specific about what the energy will be used for it flows through you to accomplish that desire in a more powerful way. Requesting the experience of something, which I first heard about through Hans King, both states your desire and requests assistance from God/Source/Angels to bring it into physical form. Also powerful is to request the feeling of having something, because the feeling is what you are really searching for anyway (example: having abundant financial resources gives you the feeling of security).

Give some focused attention to the pulling power of desire by writing out a list of things you desire. Start the list with things you desire that are already in your physical experience (I desire a safe, comfortable place to live. I desire loving and supportive friendships). This helps you notice that many things you desire are already part of your reality. Then add things that already exist in the realm of possibilities (otherwise you could not be aware of them) for which you choose to summon the energy through you to bring them into physical manifestation. Examples: I desire a prosperous and steady flow of income that is always at least 3 times my expenses. I desire for Spirit to inspire many empowering books through me.

Another thing you can do to activate the pulling power of desire is to make a list of all the things you would like to buy, without limitation, writing the amount by each ($5000 for private coaching, $400 for Lisa Turner’s class, $500 for new clothes, etc).
